Those scheduled to PCS in the next three months are strongly encouraged to attend this seminar. Speakers from various base agencies will be on hand to offer tips on how to make your move as stress-free as possible.
Working in Britain
This workshop will provide you the opportunity to get questions answered such as obtaining a National Insurance number, using the Harrogate Job Center and other employment agencies as well as learning to write a Curriculum Vitae or Résumé.
Come to this seminar and find out everything you wanted to know about bringing pets into the country as well as preparing them to leave. Discussions will include the Pet Travel Scheme, quarantine policies, and safe ways to prepare your animal for traveling.
Transition Assistance Program
Will you transition from the service in the next twelve to fifteen months? Part of your out processing is to allow you an opportunity to have a TAP briefing along with a briefing from the Veterans Affairs Office on questions and concerns when leaving the service. This briefing is held quarterly so plan accordingly. Sign up for this 4 day course about transitioning from the service into civilian life.
