Do I need a mammogram?
Annual screening mammograms are advised for women 50 years of age and older, and every other year from ages 40 to 49. These are best done in conjunction with a breast exam, and are ordered when you come in for your annual well woman exam. However, if you are not able to schedule your well woman exam in a timely manner, you can ask your doctor for a referral.

Do I need a Pap Smear?
Generally, all women should begin cervical cancer screening about 3 years after they begin having vaginal intercourse, but no later than when they are 21 years old. Guidelines for the frequency of this test vary as women get older, or for those who have had a specific number of normal Pap test results in a row. Guidelines may also vary for women who have had a hysterectomy. Please see your provider to find out more on your specific situation and a recommended schedule for testing.

How do I schedule a well woman exam?
Please call the clinic appointment line at 01480 844 503 to schedule your annual well woman exam. Your mammogram can be ordered when you are in the office for your well woman exam.

Can I bring my child to my women's health appointment?
For safety reasons, please make arrangements for your child while you are being seen. If you come in with any children, your appointment will have to be rescheduled for a later date.
