Innovator of the Month

Innovator of the Month

RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom -- The 501st Combat Support Wing recently named the Innovator of the Month for April.

Tech. Sgt. Matthew Paxton, 501st CSW Staff, was recognized for creating a tracking worksheet for all services contracts.

Modifications can be accomplished in as little as four man hours involving a minimum of four individuals to more than 100 manhours depending on the size and complexity of the modification. This tool will help mitigate time, effort and man hours for pre and post award actions.

With this tool in place, the contracting office now has a six-month window to properly plan and be proactive versus being re-active.
