RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom -- The 501st Combat Support Wing recently named the Innovator of the Month for January.
 
Tech. Sgt. JoeDon Messer, 423rd Communications Squadron was recognized for developing a postal tracking program that saved the Department of Defense $2,200 and implementing tracking procedures that reduced 132 man hours a year.

Messer also constructed an online activity distribution office for 33 units at four geographically separated bases allowing the post office to be ready for an inspection eight months early.
