CAMBRIDGE AMERICAN CEMETERY, United Kingdom -- A combined rifle team from the RAF Alconbury Honor Guard and the JIOCEUR Honor Guard fires a volley during the Veterans Day Commemoration Nov 12,2008. Members of the United States Air Force , Army, Marines and Navy, along with the Royal Air Force, Air Force Junior ROTC, fire and police services, American and British veterans and families of fallen service members gathered here today to honor America’s Fallen. Cambridge American Cemetery is the final resting place of 3,812 American servicemen and women who gave their lives to the cause of freedom. Col. Angela Cadwell, 501st Combat Support Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Robert Sealey, 501st CSW command chief, fill out their pledge forms for the Air Force Assistance Fund. The campaign runs from March 24 through May 2. The Air Force Assistance Fund is an annual effort to raise money for four organizations that lend critical support active duty and retired Airmen and their families.
