Hometown holiday greetings come to Alconbury, Molesworth

The Hometown Holiday Greetings team is coming to RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth.

This is your chance to send a holiday video greeting to friends and family back home.

DATE: Tuesday, 14 September

WHEN: 9 a.m. to noon at RAF Molesworth and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m at RAF Alconbury

WHERE: NYPD (Molesworth) - Outside the Foodcourt Subway/Anthonys (Alconbury)

WHO: You, your family, your pets! - Open to all ID Card Holders (military, civilian, contractors, dependents)

WHAT TO BRING: Name of City or town of local television and radio station in your hometown, or your relatives' hometown, and name of station if known (hint: you can find online). Military members MUST be in uniform.

INSTRUCTIONS:

People may compose the holiday message anyway they like, as long as they include the following elements:

(1) WHO they are (rank, first and last name)

(2) WHERE they are (RAF Alconbury, RAF Molesworth)

(3) WHO the greeting is going to and where that person or family lives (to my Mother, Sarah Davis, in San Antonio, Texas)

Sample messages:

"This is Sergeant Johnny Jones, my wife Jenny and our children Joseph and Joann, stationed at RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom, wishing my mom in Dallas, Texas happy holidays. I love you and miss you!"

"Hi, I'm Suzy Smith at RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. My husband, MSgt John Jones, is currently deployed... and I'd like to wish my family in Billings, Montana happy holidays. Love and miss you and looking forward to seeing you soon! "

"Hi, I'm Rick White, a contractor working for the Air Force here at RAF Molesworth and I want to wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my dad in Seattle, Washington."
