STOP MOVEMENT FOR PCS AND HOW TO OBTAIN EXTENSIONS
Effective 13 March 2020, Total Force Military and Civilian Airmen and their families traveling to, from, or through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Travel Health Notices Level 3 (COVID-19) designated locations will Stop Movement for the next 60 days, see myPers message for guidance related to travel restrictions.
Members impacted by the Stop movement and concurrent travel restrictions will receive a myPers incident requiring them to complete a relocation status questionnaire. This feedback is vital to ensure impacted members will not encounter a personal hardship. AFPC requires 100% accountability of all personnel impacted by the restrictions. After members log into myPers, the questionnaire is under the incident/message link can be located near the top left side of the myPers homepage.
Members who do not have access to a government computer or CAC reader may utilize a user name and password. Instruct the members to utilize the instructions below to reset the myPers user ID/password.
If you do not routinely log in to myPers via a username and password, review the Log In Guides provided in the file attachments below.
Note 1: When using a username and password, the mandatory two factor-authentication requirement still applies. The second factor of authentication is a PIN number sent to your designated email address. If you do not have access to your ".mil" email on your mobile device, you must add a secondary email in myPers in order to receive your PIN. Detailed Log in Guides with step-by-step instructions are listed below.
Note 2: Your "User ID" and "Password" are unique to myPers. Some external links require CAC login to operate.
Note 3:The first time that you navigate to myPers on a new device, you may receive a connection warning. Don't worry, your data is secure while using myPers. To bypass the connection warning, take the following actions:
