RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom -- RAF Alconbury and RAF Croughton dedicated 'Buddy Benches' Jan. 15 and 16. The buddy benches provide a way for lonely children to ask for help. The way the benches work is a student takes a seat on the wooden bench and when seen, other children offer to play with the seated students. Buddy Benches began in the U.S. and there are now several hundred in schools across the U.S. and Europe.
