Airmen from the 501st Combat Support Wing along with cadets from the Alconbury Middle Highschool JROTC held a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at RAF Alconbury, England, Sept. 9, 2021.
Airmen, cadets and guests came together to pay homage to those who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. "Pathfinders, Saturday marks the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States," said Col. Brian Filler, 501st Combat Support Wing commander. "I ask that you take a moment to remember those who died on that fateful day and to remember those who have been killed or wounded in the Service of our great Nation since September 11, 2001.
"Thanks to everyone who has planned or participated in one of the moving Remembrance Ceremonies and Events across the 501st. As always, I am proud to serve with such a great team!"
