The Lampkin's fell in love while attending ROTC in college. They joined the U.S. Air Force and had the opportunity to travel the world while serving together. Six months ago, baby London joined this happy family. Captains Lauren and Lawrence share the joy their new baby girl brought into their lives.

“Before I was a mom, I had to go off my self-motivation and wanting to make my husband, family, and team proud,” said Lauren. “But now, I’m fueled by wanting to make her proud that I’m her mom. It really has changed my life for the better. She makes me proud to be a mom every moment of every day, and it adds to the fact that I’m serving my country.”

“It’s the best job I ever had,” said Lawrence. “Balancing the responsibilities in the military and balancing the responsibilities as a husband and a father too, it’s challenging at times, but it’s worth it.”
