RAF CROUGHTON, England -- Airmen from the 422nd Communication Squadron on RAF Croughton took part in an 84th anniversary Battle of Britain commemoration service at St Mary's Church, Tadley, Hampshire, England, Sept. 8, 2024. The ceremony recognized the brave members that fought in the Battle of Britain which included the Fighter Command volunteer international force with pilots from the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Belgium, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic and Slovakia), and Ireland.
