Innovator of the Month

RAF CROUGHTON, United Kingdom -- The 501st Combat Support Wing recently named the Innovator of the Month for June.

The 420th Munitions Squadron Blocking and Bracing Custom Build Team revamped ISO container design drawings to account for design and size variances resulting in savings of $1,200 in material costs.

The team also has improved the accuracy of cut assembly saving time at the ISO build site and reduced custom cuts by 80%. The reduction of on-site cutting reduced ISO load time from 2.5 to .75 hours.
