RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom -- Daniel Davis, 423rd Force Support Squadron, was named the April 501st Everyday Hero from the 423rd Air Base Group.

Davis centrally manages receipt and delivery of squadron expendable and nonexpendable supplies, amenities and equipment items. He also maintains a monthly inventory with an average value at more than $100,000.

He recently coordinated and emergency relocation of $12,000 in food inventory during a recent afterhours freezer breakdown, ensuring food inventory was maintained within food code standards. His responsiveness and attention to detail saved the squadron from large potential financial loss.
