RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom -- Staff Sgt. James Goeddey and Staff Sgt. Shawn Jamison, 501st Combat Support Wing, were named the March 501st Everyday Heroes for the 501st CSW Staff.

Between the two sergeants, they create, implement and manage the wing virtual operation center.

They have done an exceptional job managing the wing emergency management program without a superintendent since September 2011. They routinely work extended hours ensuring wing emergency management plans, staff assistance visits and reports are conducted on time.
