Following the fresh snowfall that occurred overnight, plan for a safe commute into work this morning. Road conditions around most 501st Combat Support Wing installations are yellow.

To plan for a safe commute, leave earlier than normal and drive slowly while on the roads. The roads may be clear of snow, but they are still wet and there is the potential for black ice.

When clearing snow off the car in the morning, it is important to clear the hood and roof of the car, as well as the windows. This will prevent snow from blowing onto the windscreen or sliding down over the rear window.

For the most current information concerning road conditions, call the weather hotlines for each of the wing's air base groups. If the line hasn't been updated, then conditions have not changed from the statement currently on the recorded message.
