501st CSW Everyday Hero

RAF MENWITH HILL, United Kingdom --  Senior Airman Daniel Postell, 421st Air Base Squadron, was named the August 501st Everyday Hero from the 421st Air Base Group.

Postell is a military postal clerk, who serves more than 4,500 joint-service members assigned to RAF Menwith Hill. He is responsible for the accountability of the postal stamp stock account and money order funds.

As a finance clerk, he provides daily advice to patrons on U.S. Postal regulations, special mail services and cost-saving options.

He also serves as the 421st ABG Booster Club treasurer, actively volunteers as a member of the Menwith Hill Station Joint Honor Guard, and organizes fitness sessions as a physical training leader.
