Power outage at RAF Alconbury July 16

RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom --  There will be a base-wide power outage here July 16 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The outage is necessary so mandatory maintenance can be done on a substation. In the event of an emergency base personnel will need to use their cell phone to report on-base emergencies at 01480 841911.

The following facilities will have power during the outage:

Fire Department, Security Forces, Civil Engineer Power Pro, all AAFES facilities, Recycling Center, Bowling Alley, Billeting, Stukeley Inn, Commissary, Child Development and Youth Center, Main Gate, Community Center and The Grind.
