501st Family,

Each of you will be receiving a personal email invitation from the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (pending Senate approval) asking you to provide feedback on the organizational climate of your unit. The purpose of the survey is to "tap the pulse" of the Air Force by soliciting the opinions from those that make it work. ALL Air Force members (active duty, reserve, Air National Guard, and civil service employees--to include Non-Appropriated Fund employees) are highly encouraged to participate. The survey will run from 1 Oct 10 through 28 Nov 10.

As your commander, I want to take this opportunity to encourage each one of you to participate in this survey when you receive your personal email invitation. By examining our organization climate, actionable data concerning the ability of a unit to sustain effective performance is obtained. In addition, the other commanders and I will gain insight into issues effecting retention within our units including recognition, unit leadership, and overall job satisfaction.

This survey is another great way to ensure your voice is heard. Air Force leadership will receive a final report, containing your feedback on the areas that have the greatest influence on your service, job satisfaction, recognition, supervision and more. Responses to the survey directly influence and assist in building the structure and support you need to accomplish our ever changing and demanding mission. By sharing your voice, you ensure a stronger Air Force for the future. By speaking today, YOU can
shape tomorrow!
