"We've done the math.  Ms. Marrianne Davis has improved the looks of more than 125,000 military and civilian members here over her 15 years at RAF Molesworth" said Marine Corps Colonel Pete Devlin. In a surprise ceremony on February 25, the JIOCEUR Analytic Center (JAC)Commander presented Ms. Davis, proprietor of the RAF Molesworth Barber Shop with a plaque for her achievements.

Ms. Davis has seen it all! If you ask her what was the most unusual haircut she's done you will surely hear the story about the man with a toupee who wanted a trim!  As Col. Devlin also noted, even in this day of computers and social media, Marianne is second only to the telephone is passing information around the base from the 'information hub' of the RAF Molesworth Barber Shop

Asked if she had any words for the JAC leaders and staff gathered for the impromptu ceremony, the always agile businesswoman was quick to take the opportunity to advertise her new styling options for female clients. Was Ms. Davis thrilled with the award? With a characteristic smile, she summed it up: "I deserve this." The applause for Ms. Davis showed that there was agreement on the point.  Ten minutes later she was back to her shop working toward the 200,000 mark.
