"Senior Airman Manuel Minjarez deserves this recognition not only for his efforts in organizing the superb RAF Molesworth Honor Guard presentation at the October 25th NFL game in London, but also for his diplomatic efforts on behalf of our country in coordinating the performance with the joint services honor guard of our host nation." said Lt. Col Jeffrey K. Price, Assistant Air Attaché at the American Embassy, London as he presented Minjarez with a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Navy Rear Admiral Ronald H. Henderson, United States Defense Attaché, London.

The recognition of his efforts by the Embassy comes as Minjarez who serves with AFRICOM IKD-M at RAF Molesworth recently completed his third year as a lead member of the RAF Molesworth Honor Guard.  While he will be rotating soon as Embassy coordinator for military participation in the annual NFL London game, Lt. Col. Price noted with great pleasure that Minjarez has extended for a fourth year at Molesworth and will again coordinate the honor guard presentation at the 4th NFL game next fall.

It hasn't been all hard work for for Minjarez at the games.  The annual Honor Guard presentation at London's Wembley stadium has given the young airman the chance to meet celebrities presenting the national anthems of the two countries including Ne-Yo, Joss Stone, and Toni Braxton, and also meet the cheerleaders of the competing NFL teams
