Prescriptions can now be picked up at commissary

The 423rd Medical Squadron now has a Script Center refill machine, located at the RAF Alconbury and RAF Croughton Commissary.

Refills called in before 3 PM will be ready the following day, with the exception of down days and holidays. Call in refills as early as one week before running out of medication.  The telephone refill service number is 0800-919-121 and for those who want to pick up refills at the commissary, choose the appropriate option.

Calling in a refill one week early saves the customer and the pharmacy the dreaded "I am out, now what do I do?" and this allows the pharmacy adequate time to make sure they have the medication quantities in supply for the customer's order without any delays.
Please be advised that certain items cannot be picked up through this machine. Those items are:
1.) Controlled/Narcotic items
2.) Refrigerated items
3.) Large/Bulky/Oversized items
4.) Renewals* and new medications.
*(when the medical provider adds more refills to an existing prescription)

Once loaded into the Script Center, medicine refills will be available for pick up for seven duty days. If you do not pick up your prescription by the seventh duty day, it will be returned to the RAF Upwood Pharmacy. Please be advised that the pharmacy does not stock the Script Center on down days or holidays.

The first time a customer uses the refill machine; have a valid prescription number (located on your medicine bottle label). Select "Enroll" and follow the screen prompts to finish the enrollment. The customer may also establish a "One Touch Family Pick-up". Simply log in, select "my settings" and then select "Change who I pick up for" and add family members to the account.

Prescriptions may be picked up during commissary hours. Please, plan accordingly.

With the new Script Center fully functional, delivery services to RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth are no longer needed and are discontinued.
