Eighteen members of the 423rd Security Forces Squadron (SFS) from Royal Air Force (RAF) Alconbury were invited to visit the JIOCEUR Analytic Center (JAC) on Sept. 10.

"We need to show you what you are protecting here at RAF Molesworth, and why it is so important," said JAC Commander, Marine Corps Col. Pete Devlin, in welcoming the group to the JAC.

The visit began with a JAC Command Briefing presented by Devlin, on the mission, organization and capabilities of the JAC. This provided the SFS troops with a much wider knowledge of why they are so vital to the mission by ensuring security and protection at RAF Molesworth.

After the briefing they got a tour of the watch floor, the 24/7 "nerve center" of the JAC, and then a briefing by JAC Security Officer, Mr. Joe Bowen, that provided them with the knowledge of how the Special Security Office works in concert with SFS to ensure both personnel and physical security of the installation.

A second group of Security Forces troops is scheduled for September 29 as part of the JAC outreach program.
