Asked about Bob Lee, JAC Budget Chief Pat Murray, who worked with Robert R. "Bob" Lee during his six years at the JAC, simply uses a series of words to describe his colleague and friend: "Quiet, Behind the Scenes, Everyday Efficiency, Work Ethic, Giver of Sound Practical Advice, Accurate. Organized, Competent, and DEDICATED."

On May 16, 2009, JIOCEUR Analytic Center (JAC) Commander, Marine Corps Col. Pete Devlin dedicated the "Bob Lee Memorial Conference Room" at RAF Molesworth to the memory of the man who served his country for 47 years - 26 years active duty service in the United States Air Force and 21 Years as a civil servant. At the JAC, Bob served as a purchasing agent. Bob Lee died October 6, 2008 after a brief illness.

In his remarks at the dedication, Col. Devlin said:  "We did this to honor Bob; we did this for his family; but we also did this for ourselves as a constant reminder of the dedication and professionalism with which we must strive for everyday as exemplified by Bob Lee."

Bob's wife, Peggy, who he married in 1963 while serving as an Air Force law enforcement specialist at RAF Chelveston, and a group of Bob's friends and family - including his granddaughter Airman First Class Courtney Lee - witnessed the dedication of the room and unveiling of a memorial photo montage honoring Bob.
