JAC and 423rd ABG Commanders Dig Earth Day 2008

ROYAL AIR FORCE MOLESWORTH, England --  JAC Commander Marine Corps Col. Peter H. Devlin joined 423rd Air Base Group Commander Air Force Col. John J. Jordan, and RAF Base Commander Squadron Leader Dave Hill to celebrate Earth Day 2008 on April 28th.

The three leaders together dug a new planting bed under a sign interpreting the significant array of flora and fauna at Royal Air Force Molesworth.  The Commanders were joined by 423rd Civil Engineering Squadron Environmental Flight Chief Jonathan Guy.

The rare and endangered Great Crested Newt protected under British law is just one of the species that thrive in the wetlands on the base.
