Texas Congressman Silvestre Reyes Visits JAC

Congressman Silvestre Reyes (D-TX) , Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence visited the JIOCEUR Analytic Center on March 28, 2008, hosted by JAC Commander, Marine Corps Col. Peter H. Devlin.

The Congressman, a former U.S. Border Patrol Sector Chief in El Paso, Texas before running for public office represents the Texas 16th District. Chairman Reyes was accompanied to RAF Molesworth by HPSCI Staff Director Mr. Mike Delaney and Mr. Jeremy Bash Majority Chief Counsel for the Committee.

Congressman Reyes received briefings on issues relevant to the HPSCI's focus and toured the JAC meeting with analysts across the organization. The Congressman noted the key relationship of the JAC with the United Kingdom, our host nation, and discussed current intelligence priorities and concerns from his vantage point as Committee Chairman.
