Simple, innovative solutions as 423rd CES helps troops downrange, again
CAMP BASTION, Afghanistan - Firefighters of the 423rd Civil Engineer Squadron used their knowledge and experience to fix incompatibilities between British and American adapters within British and American firefighting equipment at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. "Our hose adapters were used to fulfill a shortfall and prototyped for the DFRMO procurement,” said Maj. Richard Martin, 423rd CES commander. “Within three days, this downrange firefighting vulnerability was eliminated.” (Courtesy photo)
