Innovator of the Month - December 2012

RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom – The 423rd Force Support Squadron Marketing Office was recently named the 501st Combat Support Wing Innovator of the Month for November. The 423rd FSS Marketing Team developed innovative approaches to improve the community outreach processes and morale. Their efforts to streamline office procedures, expand the 423rd FSS social media outlets (Facebook, 423rd FSS webpage, Twitter, etc) with important and relevant information, as well as their ability to provide interactive facetime with community members improved morale and strengthened the sense of community beyond expectations. Additionally, you can find them "on scene" at nearly every FSS event -- shaking hands, spreading the word, taking pictures and encouraging members to "SMILE" while emphasizing that the community building efforts are unfolding as their achievements and adventures are posted on Facebook for all to see.
