RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom - Tom Des Jardins, 423rd Force Support Squadron, was named the October 501st CSW Everyday Hero from the 423rd Air Base Group. Des Jardins provides consistent and dependable airport shuttle service. Des Jardins is available nearly 24 hours a day and averages four trips per week. He assists in organizing customers’ trips and pet transportation when returning to the United States. He is the main food service worker for the Daily Grind where he prepares food items for daily resale. He also supports special events hosted by the Community Center.
