501 CSW Fire Prevention Week 2012
RAF MENWITH HILL, United Kingdom - Owen Taylor, a Menwith Hill Station firefighter, helps Mitchell Currie, an early year student from Darley Primary School, shoot a fire hose at targets during the Fire Prevention Week event at the Fire Station Oct. 9. When fire strikes, a home can be engulfed in flames and filled with smoke in minutes so it is important for families to have an escape plan and know about fire safety. This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is "Have two ways out" which focuses on the importance of fires escape planning and practice.
