AF Birthday
RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom – Maj. Jason Nafts, 423rd Medical Squadron, and Airman Steven Hyman, 423rd Communication Squadron, cut the Air Force’s birthday cake during the 501st Combat Support Wing Air Force Ball at the Stukeley Inn on RAF Alconbury Sept. 21. More than 300 Airmen attended the ball celebrating the 65th birthday of the U.S. Air Force. Brig. Gen. John Quintas, the Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in London, was the guest speaker for the ball and reflected on the Air Force’s past and talked about how the Airmen are the strength of the future (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
