UPPER HEYFORD, United Kingdom – The village of Upper Heyford, United Kingdom, held an Act of Commemoration for Capt. Jerry Lindh, 55th Fighter Squadron F-111E pilot, and Maj. David “Mike” McGuire, 55th FS F-111E navigator, who died Sept. 17, 1992, when they decided to fly their crippled F-111E away from the villages of Upper Heyford and North Aston instead of ejecting.
