RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom - Tech. Sgt. Eric Swafford is a 501st Combat Support Wing Everyday Hero. He manages the wing safety inspection and assessment programs for four installations, identifying hazardous conditions and practices. He also assigns and tracks assessment codes for hazard abatement, ensuring appropriate corrective action has taken place. Sergeant Swafford is responsible for investingating and reporting wing mishaps and advising leadership on corrective actions.
