New "Triangle C" sign at RAF Molesworth Continues the Hertitage of the 303 Bomb Group
Keeping Air Force Heritage alive at RAF Molesworth, England. The new "Triangle C" logo sign erected to continue to honor the WWII sacrifices of the aircrew and ground crew of the 303rd Bomb Group (Heavy). The sign replaces the one painted on the sixty-five year old doors recently removed from the WWII hangar. The hangar was used during the war to repair battle damaged Boeing B-17 Flying Fortresses returning from the groups 364 raids over Nazi occupied Europe from November 17, 1942 to April 25, 1945.
