"Memphis Belle" A B-17F From the 91st Bomb Group (Heavy)
“Memphis Belle” A B17F from the 91st Bomb Group (Heavy) is fabled in the movie of the same name as the first American aircraft to complete 25 missions against targets in Nazi occupied Europe during World War II. Another aircraft called Hell’s Angels” from the 303rd Bomb Group (Heavy) at Molesworth, England – now the home of the US European Command Joint Analysis Center – actually completed 25 missions 3 days earlier..
