Mr. Gary Moncur speaks on preservation of the legacy of the 303rd Bomb Group
Mr. Gary Moncur speaks on preservation of the legacy of the 303rd Bomb Group (Heavy) during a 5 June professional development seminar at Royal Air Force Molesworth. Mr. Moncur was visiting the base with his family following in the footsteps of his father LT Vern Moncur who flew the B-17 "Thunderbird" from this base in 1943 - 1944. In 29 combat missions over Nazi occupied Europe the plane sustained substantial damage, but all crewmemebers came through unscathed. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Technical Sgt. Casey J. Martin)
