U.S. Air Force Capt. Katharine Kopinski, 351st Air Refueling Squadron pilot, completes preflight in a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at Royal Air Force Fairford, England, Nov. 2, 2021. Airmen from the 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted operations out of RAFF as part of an Agile Combat Employment exercise. Utilizing ACE concepts ensures that U.S. forces in Europe are better equipped to operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support to accomplish the mission.
