RAF Fairford ACE operations bolster synergy, readiness

Staff Sgt. Benjamin Kellum, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flying crew chief, plugs in a power cord into a KC-135 Stratotanker at RAF Fairford, England, Nov. 1, 2021. Airmen from the 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted operations out of RAFF as part of an Agile Combat Employment exercise. Utilizing ACE concepts ensures that U.S. forces in Europe are better equipped to operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support to accomplish the mission. This further ensures Airmen and aircrews are postured to deliver lethal combat power across the full spectrum of military operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Eugene Oliver)
